Policy

Alamwar is proud to create and present a product that reflects the essence of what we stand for and who we are. We strive to maintain the dignity of, not only, the artisans forging these pieces but also of the environment, global sustainability and socially responsible business practices. Our items are hand made by master artisans using time honored techniques that have been passed down through generations, such as hand block and screen printing, hand looming, hand embroidering, hand painting and hand stitching. These practices and skills always display the art and design that only hand crafted pieces can incorporate.

Each Alamwar piece is truly unique and shows the excellence it contains. Through these avenues, we endeavor to have the highest quality delivered to you. However, handmade items from natural materials are individual works of art that are created by the precise movements of the hands of master artisans rather than those of machinery and may, at times, contain small blemishes or inclusions that bring out its true character, beauty and rarity. These are not to be considered defects or imperfections but rather tangible proof of artistry in action.

Shipping

Orders require minimum of 24-48 hours to process. We do not process or ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Orders will be shipped by Standard Ground, unless another option is chosen.

Shipping Methods and Cost

  • FedEx Standard Ground: delivers 7-10 days after processing
  • FedEx 2 or 3 Business Day: guaranteed delivery 2 to 3 business days after processing
  • FedEx Next Business Day: guaranteed delivery next business day after processing

Currently, we do not offer:

  • Saturday delivery
  • Delivery to P.O. Boxes
  • Ground shipping to Hawaii or Alaska – Please select either FedEx 2 or 3 Business Day or FedEx Next Business Day

Shipment Notification

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been shipped. Information about any backordered or cancelled items will be sent in a separate email.

Return Policies

Please contact us at alamwarcustomerservice@email.com prior to returning merchandise. Items for refund or exchange must have the original tags attached and are subject to being unused, unwashed, unworn and undamaged. Alamwar will provide exchange or full refund, less shipping costs, for qualifying purchased items, within 21 days of shipping date. All items must be returned in the original packaging and in original condition. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Sale items will be accepted for exchange or Alamwar credit only. No refunds can be made on sale items. An Alamwar credit is valid for six (6) months from issue date.

FINAL SALE items cannot be exchanged or returned at any time. Upon the receipt of returned goods, Alamwar reserves the right to deny refund if the merchandise does not meet return policy requirements. Most returns are processed within ten business days of receipt of merchandise.

Return Instructions

Please send your return in the original packaging to:

On your invoice/packing list, note the quantity and reason(s) for return. Pack your return securely in the original packaging and include your completed invoice/packing list. Take the package to your nearest FedEx center. We recommend insuring your return item(s).

Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Items

In the event that we processed your order incorrectly or you received a damaged or defective item, Alamwar.com will happily replace or take back the merchandise for a full refund at our expense. Please contact Customer Service via email at alamwarcustomerservice@email.com prior to returning any incorrect, damaged or defective items.

Returning a Gift

You may return a gift purchased from Alamwar.com. You will be issued an Alamwar.com gift card/certificate in the amount of the returned merchandise, which will be mailed to you.

Exchanges

To exchange an item, please fill out the exchange request form included with your order or email us at alamwarcustomerservice@email.com. We will assist you with your return and reorder of new merchandise. Due to limited availability of our collections, we cannot always honor an exchange. However, we will always do our best to fulfill each order as requested. If an exchange request cannot be made, we will credit you with your full amount due, less any shipping and handling charges.

Returns Processing Time

Your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days from when your return is received. You will receive an email when your refund has been processed. Please allow an additional 3-5 business days to receive your credit. In some cases, it can take up to one full billing cycle for the credit to be reflected based on your credit card company’s policies.

* You may check the status of your return by contacting alamwarcustomerservice@email.com or by logging into your Alamwar.com account and clicking on the Order History tab. You must be registered with Alamwar.com to check your return status online. If you paid with a gift card/certificate, Alamwar.com will issue another gift card/certificate for the full refund amount.
